Take the Tour

Starting at 11AM you can take the Hell Raisers, Hoodlum’s and a Heated History Tour that takes off from Basin Spring Park. Kids are always free and you can learn a little about who lived in Eureka Springs and how they wreaked havoc in our fair city!

Downtown Scavenger Hunt

Be sure to pick up your Downtown Scavenger Hunt card at the Basin Park Hotel from 11-3PM and explore the Downtown and see things you may have missed on one of your trips. This FREE game will have the whole family laughing and playing along. On the way you can get an ice cream cone, funnel cake, pick up some fudge or have lunch! There are so many treats and dining options that your family might just have to try 2 or 3!

4th of July Parade

Eureka Springs knows how to have a parade and 4th of July is no exception! The parade rolls off at 2PM from the Library and heads down Spring Street! Good places to see the parade are in front of the US Post Office, in front of the New Orleans Hotel, in front of Eureka Thyme Gallery, at Basin Spring Park, and in front of the Courthouse! Bring the whole family to celebrate in Downtown Eureka Springs!

Old Fashioned 4th of July Fun

Be in Basin Spring Park at 3PM for the Annual Downtown Eureka Springs 4th of July fun! There will be the 5th Annual Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest, Water Balloon Toss, Cupcake Walk to celebrate Eureka Springs’ Birthday, Crafts and more! The celebration lasts 2 hours! Bring your completed Scavenger Hunt Card to the Booth in the Park from 3-5 for a PRIZE!

Fireworks!

After the festivities in the park you can head over to Fireworks at Holiday Island Recreation Center by The Barn. For more information contact Pam Hinson at 479-253-7700. Or go out to the 13th Annual Fireworks display at Ventris Trails End Resort. These fireworks are choreographed to music and are best seen by boat as they are projected toward Beaver Lake for an incredible effect as they reflect off the water of Beaver Lake.
